About Family Trees & Trails
My name is Lynda Bell and I am the principal researcher at Family Trees & Trails. An avid genealogist since 1998, I can help you research Mid-Atlantic, New England, Midwest, and Southern families in the United States, as well as families in the United Kingdom and Europe. Living in Central Ohio, I specialize in searching for Ohio ancestors. I am particularly interested in Eastern European and African-American research.
Experience and education have been (and continue to be) vital in my growth as a genealogist. I have spent countless hours researching online and in libraries, courthouses, and archives to hone my skills. In 2008, I earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Genealogical Studies from Strathclyde University. Genealogical conferences and in-depth educational opportunities such as the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG) and Samford University's Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research (IGHR) also have been great sources of enrichment.
I truly enjoy a good challenge and I strive to provide quality service through thorough research, accurate analysis, and detailed documentation. For more information about the services I provide, please visit Services. Inquiries can be made through the Contact page.
